Kelly Nyaga is a Regional Carbon Policy Analyst at BURN, focusing on carbon policy analysis in several African countries, including Ghana, Kenya, DRC, and Mozambique, since April 2024. In addition, Kelly serves as a lawyer and legal research associate at Anjarwalla & Khanna | ALN since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Trade Policy Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, an East Africa Regional Representative at Afronomicslaw, and a legal researcher at TradeLab. Kelly also participated in the 18th Edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, achieving recognition as the Best Orator in the Grand Final and contributing to the victory in the All Africa rounds. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Strathmore University, a participation in the WTI Summer Academy 2020, and completion of the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya School of Law.
