Laura Davis is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in civil litigation, particularly in employment law, landlord-tenant issues, and real estate transactions. Currently serving as Assistant Counsel at the National Treasury Employees Union since February 2017, Laura previously managed a solo practice as an attorney, providing comprehensive legal services and ensuring compliance with State Bar requirements. Laura's background includes significant roles at Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas as a Staff Attorney, conducting legal research and client representation, and at Knowles Publishing, Inc. as a Legal Researcher. Earlier career experiences include positions with the National Labor Relations Board and as a Law Clerk for the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas, as well as leadership roles within AFGE Local 3978. Laura holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas A&M University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University.
