Dr. Julie Dinnage

Director, Veterinary Medical Affairs at Anivive

Dr. Julie Dinnage has a long and varied work experience. Dr. Julie currently serves as Director of Veterinary Medical Affairs at Anivive, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were an independent contractor and non-profit management consultant from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they also served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer Veterinary Services at the Hawaiian Humane Society and the Interim Vice President of Animal Health Operations and Chief Veterinary Officer at the Arizona Humane Society. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at Elanco, where they held the positions of Retired Professional Services Veterinarian and Sales Manager, Southwest District Sales Manager, and Chief Veterinary Technical Consultant. Dr. Julie has also been a part of the Animal Welfare Committee at the American Veterinary Medical Association since 2006 and was Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians from 2001 to 2018. From 1998 to 2001, they were the Director of Animal Protection Medicine at the MSPCA-Angell.

Dr. Julie Dinnage began their educational journey at Nichols School, where they completed their High School degree in Liberal Arts in 1982. Dr. Julie then attended Amherst College for one year, studying Liberal Arts. From 1983 to 1986, they attended Cornell University, earning a BS in Biological Sciences and Animal Sciences. Finally, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1987 to 1992, where they earned their DVM in Veterinary Medicine.
