M.j. Timm

Senior Director Project Management at AngioDynamics

M.J. Timm has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position was at AngioDynamics, where they served as Senior Director of Project Management. In this role, they led a Project Management Office and managed projects with complex parameters and M&A integration and divestiture efforts. Prior to this, they were the Director of Project Management at AngioDynamics, where they established a Project Management Office and implemented a Stage-Gate process.

Before working at AngioDynamics, Timm served as the Chief Science Officer at GI Supply, where they directed and led product development in a virtual development environment. They also coordinated and guided the formulation development of the Spot endoscopic marking product.

At Boston Scientific, Timm held several positions, including Director of Product Development, Endoscopy, where they directed new product development across five franchises and built the department from 12 to over 30 employees. They also served as the Director of Strategic Technology Assessment, Corporate R&D, where they executed technology assessments and delivered presentations to divisional leaders. Additionally, they were the Director of Corporate Research & Development and the Director of R&D Process Development, where they led high visibility projects and grew technical groups.

Earlier in their career, Timm worked at Cardiotech as a Product Development Manager and at Intelligent Biocides, LLC as a Senior Applications Chemist. They also served as the Manager of Development at Gel Sciences and GelMed, where they synthesized novel gels and interfaced with customers. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Chemist at Morton International.

M.J. Timm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Hamline University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. M.J. continued their education at the University of New Hampshire, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from 1987 to 1990.
