Mikkel Simonsen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Mikkel began their career as a Management Consultant at PA Consulting Group from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they joined Valcon as a Senior Partner from 2004 to 2021, where they focused on connecting strategy and operations for clients. Simonsen then moved on to Andel, where they held the role of PMI Director (SVP) from 2021 to 2023. Mikkel was later promoted to the role of Transformations and Project Director (SVP) at Andel. In 2023, Simonsen took on the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer at Andel Energi.

Mikkel Simonsen holds a M.Sc. (Econ) degree from Copenhagen Business School.
