Edward Hammond MD, PhD, MPH serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Development at Anavex Life Sciences since July 2021. Edward's extensive experience includes significant roles at AstraZeneca from July 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities encompassed life cycle management, medical and payer evidence in the BioPharma division, and leadership in epidemiology across various therapeutic areas. Edward began a career in this field at Bayer HealthCare, serving as an Epidemiologist in Global Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance from September 2014 to July 2015.
