Annie Preece-Scaringe has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Annie began as a Teaching Assistant at Hollywood Dance Center, followed by Social Chair and Reporter for Alpha Chi Sigma Fraternity from 2016-2018. In 2016, they also began working as an Undergraduate Researcher at Graves Lab at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2017, they became an Undergraduate Research Affiliate at the Joint BioEnergy Institute, and in 2018 they became a Fermentation Associate at Wild Earth Inc. In 2020, they began their current role as a Process Engineer I at Amyris.

Annie Preece-Scaringe graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Annie began their studies at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014.
