Tandy Lau is a Public Safety Reporter for the New York Amsterdam News since June 2022, working as a Report for America Corps Member. Previous experience includes roles as Associate Manager at Z Gallerie from 2013 to 2020, Editorial Intern at Kore Asian Media in 2019, and Staff Writer for The Sundial from 2017 to 2018. Tandy holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University (2021-2022) and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Journalism (Newspaper Focus) and Asian-American Studies from California State University, Northridge (2013-2018). Tandy completed secondary education at Van Nuys Senior High from 2009 to 2013.
