Chris Hilemon is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Engineering Manager for Global Software Development at AMETEK since 2020, Chris leads a team dedicated to creating advanced software for electrochemical research and nuclear radiation detection. Prior to this role, Chris spent over 21 years at Emerson Automation Solutions, progressing from Engineering Manager to Director of MHM Technology, where Chris managed large teams and substantial product development budgets focused on reliability and predictive maintenance products. Chris began a career in software engineering with roles at Computational Systems Incorporated and Lockheed Martin Energy Systems, contributing to significant software projects early in the professional journey. Chris holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering and Computer Science, respectively, from East Tennessee State University.
