Arnold Ayim started their work experience in 2012 as a University of Minesota recreational department employee. In 2013, they worked as a Substation Intern at Ulteig Engineers and as a Power System Protection Intern at HDR. In 2014, they joined Systems Control as a Lead Protection & Controls Engineer.

Arnold Ayim completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they completed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum at Normandale Community College, although specific dates for this accomplishment were not provided.
