Melody Bonomo has a diverse background in various roles within the healthcare industry. Melody currently works at AmeriHealth Caritas Florida as the Market President. Prior to this, they served as the COO of Plan Operations & Administration at AmeriHealth Caritas Florida and as the Director of Behavioral Health. Before joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Melody worked at Aetna as the Director of Provider Network Management/Operations. Melody was responsible for overseeing network operations, managing staff, and ensuring the needs of consumers were met. Melody also has experience at MHNet Behavioral Health/Coventry Health Care, where they served as the National Director of Provider Network Relations. Melody managed provider contracting and the provider relations department. Earlier in their career, Melody worked at Lakeside Alternatives as a Mental Health Therapist/Program Director and at Leon County Schools-Special Education as a Mental Health Consultant and Family Service Coordinator. Melody began their career at ACT Corporation as the Director of Youth Alternatives Emergency Shelter, where they managed the operations of an emergency shelter and coordinated services for families.

Melody Bonomo received a Master's Degree in Mental Health/Marriage and Family Psychotherapy from Stetson University in 1995. Melody also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida State University. Additionally, Melody pursued a Master's Degree ABD in Health Psychology/Behavioral Health Counseling from San Diego State University. Melody holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma as a Black Belt and Green Belt, obtained in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Melody is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1997.
