Veronika Fournier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Veronika began their career in 2008, working at Fuddruckers and Chick-fil-A as a Guest Service Associate and Cashier respectively. In 2009, they joined Duke University Stores as a Cashier and later worked as an Elementary Arabic Teacher's Assistant.
In 2012, Veronika interned at the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, where they assisted with various tasks such as managing documents, collecting data, and shadowing agents and analysts.
Veronika then joined Nothing Bundt Cakes in 2013 as a Guest Service Representative. Their responsibilities included serving guests, taking orders, and assisting with cake arrangements and decorations.
From 2016 to 2017, Veronika worked as an AmeriCorps Development VISTA at Refugee Services of Texas, where they facilitated partnerships, raised funds, and conducted research.
In 2017, they briefly worked at Sherman Consulting Inc. as a Processing Analyst, analyzing and processing requests for US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Veronika also has experience in nonprofit management. From 2017 to 2018, they managed the Literacy KC VISTA Program, overseeing projects and members at various organizations. Veronika then served as the VISTA Project Director in 2018-2019, where they developed partnerships, managed projects, and ensured quality member experiences.
Most recently, Veronika worked as a Portfolio Manager at the Corporation for National and Community Service, starting in 2019.
Throughout their career, Veronika has demonstrated a strong ability to manage projects, build partnerships, and provide excellent customer service.
Veronika Fournier completed their education with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Intelligence Studies from the American Public University, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies from Duke University, where they were enrolled from 2009 to 2013. At Duke University, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and International Comparative Studies. Veronika Fournier further enhanced their knowledge and skills by obtaining additional certifications. In November 2018, they completed the Mental Health First Aid USA certification from the National Council for Behavioral Health. Additionally, in January 2017, they acquired the Raiser's Edge Fundamentals certification from Blackbaud.
