Tim Boyd, M.P.H. has a diverse work experience in healthcare policy and advocacy. Tim started their career as the Director of Domestic Policy at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation in 2006, where they were responsible for developing and executing domestic policy and advocacy initiatives related to HIV/AIDS services, drug pricing, and regulatory issues. In 2015, they joined the National Organization for Rare Disorders as the Director of State Policy, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they focused on state-level policy development. Since July 2019, Tim has been serving as the Director of State Health Care and Education Affairs at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Tim Boyd, M.P.H., completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara, from 2002 to 2006. Tim then attended the University of California, Riverside in 2001 to 2002, focusing on Political Science and Government. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Public Health (MPH) from The George Washington University between 2013 and 2017. During this time, they obtained additional certifications including M.P.H. from the Council on Education for Public Health in September 2017, and a CITI certification from the Collaborative Institute Training Institute, University of Miami (obtained information not provided).
