Nancy Hofmann is an experienced editor and researcher in plant biology. Currently serving as the Founding Editor at Peridot Scientific Communications/Plant Editors since July 2009 and as a Science Editor for The Plant Cell at the American Society of Plant Biologists since February 2008, Nancy has a strong background in scientific communication. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where research focused on hexokinase in mouse sperm. Nancy Hofmann earned a PhD in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, between 1998 and 2005, and holds a BA with Distinction in Biology from Swarthmore College, completed in 1996.
