Research Associate, Drivers Of Food Systems Transformation at Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)

Flaminia Ortenzi is a skilled researcher specializing in food systems transformation and nutrition, currently serving as a Research Associate at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since November 2022. In this role, Flaminia co-leads research projects focusing on the affordability of nutritious foods in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and the development of a new nutrient profiling system for nutritional assessments. Previous experience includes serving as a Global Health Research Consultant for the World Health Organization, where Flaminia assessed maternal and child care and noncommunicable disease (NCD) integration in healthcare systems.
