Jim Grant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public administration and governance. Currently serving as the Vice President of Membership for the Southern California Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration, Jim focuses on recruitment and retention of members across the Southern California region. Jim holds notable leadership roles, including Immediate Past Chair and Chair of the Section on Ethics and Integrity in Governance with the American Society for Public Administration. With a background in law enforcement as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst II for the LAPD, Jim previously worked as a public administrator for the City of Los Angeles. Additionally, Jim has experience in insurance and technical editing, complemented by multiple academic qualifications, including a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and several certificates in specialized fields.
