Elizabeth Johnson currently serves as Provost and Senior Vice President at American Public University System, a role assumed in June 2023, where Elizabeth leads initiatives to enhance academic quality and integrate innovative tools. Prior to this position, Elizabeth spent 17 years at Post University, culminating in the role of Chief Academic Officer and Provost, overseeing Academic Affairs for both on-campus and online students, and achieving significant advancements in program development and accreditation. Elizabeth's extensive experience also includes positions as Assistant Provost, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, and various faculty roles. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Plant and Soil Science and Earth and Environmental Science, respectively. Additional qualifications include a leadership certificate from the Disney Institute.
