Anand Kavalapara began their career in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer at ITC Infotech. In 2002, they joined American Public Television, first as Director of IT and then as Vice President of Technology.

Anand Kavalapara completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University between 1994 and 1997.
