Matthew Bisanz is a Partner in the Financial Services Regulatory and Enforcement Group at Mayer Brown, serving since June 2013. In addition to this role, Matthew has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, teaching accounting and taxation since September 2012. Matthew is also actively involved in various committees, including serving as Chair and Vice Chair for multiple subcommittees of the American Bar Association's Banking Law Committee since August 2015, and as a Special Advisor for the Structured Finance Journal. As a member of the Exchequer Club since June 2021, Matthew contributes to banking and financial discussions and has participated in the Law360 Banking Editorial Advisory Board since March 2021. Furthermore, Matthew has been appointed as a Local Board Member for the Selective Service System, both currently and in the past, overseeing claims adjudication as a quasi-ALJ. Matthew's extensive education includes degrees from Georgetown University Law Center, Hofstra University, New York University, and others, resulting in advanced qualifications in law, cybersecurity management, and business.
