Luca Valsecchi is a skilled simulator developer and aerospace engineer with extensive experience in performance prediction and tools development for the sailing industry. Currently serving as a Simulator Developer at American Magic - Challenger for the 37th America's Cup, Luca has also been the owner and co-founder of ToolsPole since February 2020, where expertise in dynamic systems and mathematical modeling is applied. Previous roles include Simulator Engineer for New York Yacht Club American Magic and Performance Prediction and Tools Developer in consulting for Giorgio Provinciali, focusing on appendage design and optimization. Luca's early career involved an internship at SISSA, where development of C++ implementations for Proper Generalized Decomposition was undertaken. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, both obtained from Politecnico di Milano.
