Roger Jarjoura is a Principal Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, a position held since March 2012, where responsibilities include leading the strategic direction of the Human and Social Development Justice Institute with a focus on juvenile justice research. Previously, Roger served as an Associate Professor at Indiana University from August 1993 to May 2012, concentrating on youth involvement in the juvenile justice system, specifically addressing issues related to high school dropout rates, poverty, and the decision-making processes of youths in relation to their perceptions of justice system practitioners and the law. Additionally, research efforts included the evaluation of juvenile and adult reentry programs.
