Michael Kjelshus is an experienced finance professional with a focus on agricultural and business banking. Currently serving as an Assistant Vice President and Ag/Business Banker at American Federal Bank since May 2017, Michael Kjelshus has a commitment to providing trusted financial advice and fostering long-term relationships with clients in the Red River Valley. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as a Commercial Loan Officer at Citizens Community Credit Union from July 2010 to May 2017 and as a Credit Analyst at Bremer Bank from January 2006 to July 2010. Michael Kjelshus obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of North Dakota, completing studies from 2007 to 2010.
