Sarah Tondu is an experienced arts administrator with a strong background in dance and community engagement. As the Managing Director of the American Dance Festival since April 2001, Sarah has held various leadership roles including Director of Communications and Marketing, Director of Performances and Community Programs, and Director of School Administration. Prior to this, Sarah served as the Business Manager at the University Center for International Studies at UNC Chapel Hill from 1999 to 2001 and worked as the House Manager at the American Dance Festival from May 1997 to July 2000. Sarah holds both a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Dance from Mills College.
