Chanel Williams is a seasoned publicist with experience at prestigious institutions such as the Metropolitan Opera, where Chanel has served since October 2022, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where Chanel held the role of Senior Press Representative from August 2017 to October 2022. In this capacity, Chanel managed publicity for Washington National Opera and classical programming, as well as jazz, hip hop, and contemporary culture initiatives. Prior to these roles, Chanel worked as a Public Affairs Assistant at the Smithsonian Institution and gained marketing experience through internships at Aramark, Ledonia Wright Cultural Center, and the East Carolina University Alumni Association. Chanel holds a Master of Arts in Engaged & Public Humanities from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Applied Communication from East Carolina University.
