Sara Wood currently serves as a Product Owner at the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sara held the position of Director of Fire Solutions at mySidewalk from January 2019 to October 2022, where the focus was on significant fire performance metrics to enhance outcomes in the fire service. Before mySidewalk, Sara was the NFIRS Program Manager at the Office of the State Fire Marshal from October 2013 to January 2021, deeply committed to the mission of the National Fire Incident Reporting System. Earlier, from October 2005 to October 2013, Sara served as a State Law Enforcement Trainer and Auditor at the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, where an expertise in detail was developed while working across various aspects of the Kansas Criminal Justice Information System.
