Syed Asif Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over several reputable companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Syed is currently serving as the Commercial Excellence Head at Amarant Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd. Since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hilton Pharma Limited as the Manager of SFE & Training from November 2019 to March 2020. From March 2017 to August 2019, they held the position of Head of SFE & Training at Pharmatec Pakistan (Private) Limited.

Syed'slong association with Merck began in 2007, where they held multiple roles within the organization. From April 2013 to March 2017, they served as the Training Manager for Commercial Excellence, responsible for defining and leading sales efficiency indicators and executing the Commercial Excellence strategy. Syed also took on the role of Training Manager, overseeing sales, soft skills, and product trainings for Merck from February 2007 to March 2013.

Prior to joining Merck, Syed Asif Ali worked as a Training Manager for Merck Serono Pakistan from February 2007 to March 2013, focusing on Merck Corporate Values and competencies. Syed initially began their professional career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Scientific Promotion Officer & Product Promotion Officer with Merck KGaA & Otsuka Pakistan Limited, starting in April 1998.

Syed'searly experience includes working as a Scientific Promotion Officer at Otsuka Pakistan Ltd from August 1995 to April 1998. Overall, Syed Asif Ali's work experience showcases their expertise in sales, training, and commercial excellence within the pharmaceutical industry.

Syed Asif Ali has a diverse educational background in the field of training and professional development. In 2009, they completed a professional training course, "The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People," at Franklin Covey South Asia. In 2010, Syed attended the Pakistan Institute of Managments, where they focused on Training Need Analysis. Additionally, in 2012, they participated in the Sales Training Academy at Manila, earning a degree in Train The Trainer, specializing in Sales Training & Coaching.

Syed also obtained several professional certificates from the Merck Legal & Compliance & Ethics Center in 2012. These certificates include Information Security, Merck Pharmaceutical Marketing Best Practice, and The Code of Conduct Refresher.

In 2015, Syed pursued further training at the Pakistan Society for Training and Development, focusing on Persuasion & Influence.
