Josh Trujillo began their work experience as Youth Director at New Beginnings Assembly of God in 2001 and held this role until 2006. From 2007 to 2014, they served as Education Director at Save Our Youth, where they oversaw college preparation, scholarship programs, and summer academy. In 2014, they transitioned to Dish Network as a Business Operations Analyst 2, a role they held until 2017. Following this, Josh joined SynerMed as a Senior Decision Support Analyst, providing analytical and consultative support to management and stakeholders. In 2018, they became a Data Warehouse Liaison at agilon health until 2019 when they were appointed as a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst at AltaMed Health Services.

Josh Trujillo attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their field of study was mathematics with an emphasis in Probability and Statistics, along with a minor in Economics. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, Josh attended Colorado School of Mines, though no specific degree or field of study information is available for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Josh Trujillo has obtained a certification in Epidemiology: The Basic Science of Public Health from Coursera Course Certificates. Josh completed this certification in November 2017.
