Liam Coussens is currently employed as a Research Analyst at AlphaBrook, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the Provost at Hope College from 2020 to 2022, an Administrative Coordinator at Calvin University from 2017 to 2020, an AmeriCorps Program and Grant Manager at Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service from 2015 to 2017, and a Casework Intern at U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin (D-IL) from 2014 to 2015.

Liam Coussens obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science from the University of Illinois Springfield in 2017. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Jazz Studies with a Minor in International Politics from DePaul University in 2015. In 2021, they earned a Tableau Analyst certification from Tableau.
