Khurram Schehzadâ„¢ has a wide range of work experience in various industries and organizations. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Alpha Beta Core, a tech-driven boutique investment banking and strategy advisory platform. Khurram leads a team that focuses on investing in and advising on risk-neutral investment portfolios of high-potential, early-stage disruptive themes across the MENAP/ASIA regions.

Prior to founding Alpha Beta Core, Khurram served as a Member of the Board at the Privatisation Commission of Pakistan from 2014 to the present. In this role, they were entrusted with responsibilities related to privatization, restructuring, turnaround, and overhauling of state-owned or partially-owned entities. Khurram also played a key role in evaluation, transaction, and structuring committees for various ongoing transactions.

Khurram is actively involved in the corporate world as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council since 2015. In this role, they provide critique and contributes to cutting-edge research in management practices and leadership.

Khurram is also a mentor for various organizations including Founder Institute, TiE, and the National Incubation Center Karachi. Khurram leverages their expertise to guide and support entrepreneurs and startups in their respective journeys.

Additionally, Khurram serves as a member of the Economic Advisory Committee and Incubation Committee at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Khurram contributes to the development of early-stage tech-enabled specialty startups and provides quality business incubation.

Khurram is a member of the panel of experts at the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA). Their expertise and insights contribute to the development and growth of special technology zones.

In the field of higher education, Khurram has served as an expert industry evaluator for the Technology Transfer Support Fund (TTSF) of the Higher Education Commission. Khurram contributes to the support and development of technology transfer initiatives in Pakistan.

As a member of the South Asian Corporate Advisory Council, Khurram supports disaster prevention, mitigation, and management efforts in the South Asian region. Khurram works to bring scientific research, international cooperation, and private sector resources together to create a comprehensive disaster response mechanism.

Khurram Schehzadâ„¢ has a diverse educational background. Khurram completed Levels I and II of the CFA Curriculum from the CFA Institute. In 2003, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Bahria University. Prior to that, in 2002, they earned a Master's degree in Philosophy from Karachi University. Khurram had previously graduated from Karachi University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Banking, and Business Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Khurram Schehzadâ„¢ holds a Certified Director designation from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) and International Finance Corporation (IFC), which they obtained in 2015. Khurram has also completed various certification courses, such as the Fixed Income Investment & Trading Certification Course by IFMP/USAID, the Fundamentals of Capital Markets Certification, the Pakistan's Market Regulations Certification, and the Stock Brokers Certification. Additionally, they have completed courses on skills development, such as Introduction to JAVA Programming and Introduction to .Net.
