Philippe Schambel is an experienced professional in the field of computational chemistry and drug design, currently serving as the Director of Computational Chemistry and Senior Project Leader in Chemoinformatics at NovAliX since June 2019. Prior to this role, Philippe held various positions at Pierre Fabre from January 1992 to January 2020, including Project Leader in Natural Fragment Based Drug Design and Head of Molecular Modeling. Philippe's career also includes a tenure at Guerbet as Head of Molecular Modeling and NMR from January 1988 to January 1992. Philippe Schambel holds a degree from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), obtained between 1981 and 1987, and studied at Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris.
