Estrella Garcia has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as Head of Global Clinical Operations at Almirall from 1992 to 2016. Estrella then held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Global Clinical Operations department at the same company. In 2016, they became a Socia at EJE&CON Asociacion Espanola de Ejecutiv@s y Consejer@s. In 2018, they founded WeRockCapital, an organization focused on women investing in women-owned companies. Estrella also completed their PhD research at the University of Navarra from 1987 to 1992.

Estrella Garcia completed a PhD in Biology with a specialization in Genetic Toxicology at the University of Navarra from 1987 to 1991. Estrella furthered their education by participating in an Executive Management Course focused on the Women Executive Program at Esade in 2015-2016. Most recently, in 2021-2022, they pursued an AMP in Business Administration and Management at Esade.
