Audrey Hughes has a diverse work experience in the field of computational chemistry. Audrey started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Florida State University from 2012 to 2018. Audrey then worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Cataloguing Assistant and Book Mender, and Undergraduate Research Assistant in Chemistry at Rhodes College from 2007 to 2010. In 2019, they joined Enago (Crimson Interactive) as an Editor before moving on to become the Director of Computational Modeling at MelliCell, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Audrey then worked at Exo Therapeutics as a Scientist II in Computational Chemistry from July 2022 to January 2023. Currently, they are employed at Alltrna as a Scientist II in Computational Chemistry starting from March 2023.
Audrey Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Rhodes College. Audrey further pursued their education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Florida State University. Additionally, Audrey has obtained multiple certifications in data science from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. These certifications cover a range of topics including R Basics, Visualization, Probability, Inference and Modeling, Productivity Tools, Wrangling, Linear Regression, and Machine Learning.
