Evan Whelchel has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Evan started their career in 2010 as an Inside Sales and Operations Manager at Zilliant. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at ReachForce, first as a Data Quality and Strategy Manager and later as a Sales Territory Manager.
In 2014, Whelchel joined Informatica as a National Account Manager, responsible for growing revenue in strategic enterprise accounts. Evan then moved to Ansible by Red Hat in 2015 as a Director of Sales, where they built and managed a sales process and team.
From 2016 to 2017, Whelchel worked at Red Hat as the Director of Sales for Ansible, and later as the Director of Global Market Development. In 2018, they became the Director of Mid-Market Sales and Market Development.
In 2019, Whelchel joined GitLab Inc. as the Sr. Director of Revenue Marketing, responsible for building and overseeing the company's revenue marketing journey. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of Revenue Marketing.
In 2021, Whelchel joined Cypress.io as the Vice President of Marketing, where they built and executed the go-to-market strategy. Evan then moved to Tonkean in 2022 as the Vice President of Marketing.
Currently, Whelchel is working at Allstacks as the Chief Revenue Officer, a position they assumed in 2023.
Evan Whelchel began their education at St. Mary's Hall from 1991 to 1995. Following their time at St. Mary's Hall, Evan attended Franklin & Marshall College from 1995 to 1999. At Franklin & Marshall College, Evan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Marketing.
