BJ Webster currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Wealth Services and Retirement Plan Services at Alera Group, Inc., a role held since September 2023, where leadership of the national investment committee is a key responsibility. With a wealth management career spanning over three decades, BJ Webster has been the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner at Wharton Business Group, LLC since 1992, overseeing a boutique firm with over 120 clients and more than $3.5 billion in assets under management. Additionally, BJ Webster has participated in the inaugural RIA Council at both BlackRock, starting in November 2018, and Vanguard, from December 2016 to December 2020, focusing on initiatives to enhance the RIA industry's service delivery. BJ Webster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware, obtained between 1981 and 1985.
