Simon Dennis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Simon started their career as a Software Engineer at SCT Corp in 1998. Simon then worked as a Consultant at The Sycamore Group from 2000 to 2001, followed by a role as a Senior Associate at LiquidHub from 2001 to 2004. Simon then joined IBC as a Supervisor of Java Development from 2004 to 2011.
From 2011 to 2014, Simon worked at NAVTEQ as a Manager of Engineering - Mobile Development, where they managed a team of mobile developers and delivered performance improvements for mobile applications. Simon then moved to Barclaycard as the Director of Mobile Development and Innovation, leading a team in the transition from waterfall to agile development methodologies.
Simon later joined Merchant Customer Exchange LLC (MCX) as the VP of Partner Technology Integration, where they led the creation of a cloud-based service platform and designed integration services for fortune 500 retailers using the MCX mobile payments platform.
In 2017, Simon joined Capgemini as a Director, leading the architecture of the McDonalds global mobile application and driving technical direction. Simon also led a development team at Eagle View Technologies, building a mobile and server-side application for a digital transformation venture.
In 2022, Simon joined LifeScan as the Head of Application Development, where they were responsible for leading mobile and web application engineering groups and driving new product development features.
Currently, Simon is working at GeoBlue as the Director of IT Architecture and Digital Transformation, a role they started in 2023.
Simon Dennis completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 1994 to 1998. Simon then pursued higher education and received an MBA degree from Drexel University from 2008 to 2010.
