Grace Prator is a Senior Research Associate in Biology at Alector since September 2020, specializing in designing and conducting experiments aimed at understanding neurodegeneration and therapeutic drug efficacy. Previously, Grace held the position of Senior Research Associate II at ArsenalBio, focusing on lentiviral engineering of immune cells and tumor cell lines. Grace's earlier experience includes roles as a Post Baccalaureate Researcher and Undergraduate Honors Student Researcher at California State University, Chico, where work revolved around cellular genetic modifications. Additional research roles at the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of California, Los Angeles, contributed to a strong foundation in investigating gene expression and CRISPR methodologies. Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from California State University, Chico, and an Associate of Science in Biology from Butte College.
