Josh Zhang has held a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2016, they worked as an Associate at Panera Bread, and as an Instructional Aide and Undergraduate Researcher & Team Lead at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer at Shutterfly, Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer and then a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn. In 2021, they were a Founding Engineer at Explo. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Alchemy.

Josh Zhang attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2018, they also attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
