Deborah Emerson has a diverse work experience in executive leadership and senior leadership roles. Their most recent position is as the Director of Strategy, Clinical, and Government Affairs at AlayaCare, a provider of cloud-based home health care software. Prior to that, they served as the President and CEO of Homecare Intelligence Canada/UK Inc., where they focused on enhancing system and organizational capacity. Deborah also held the role of President and CCO - MarkiTech at LocateMotion, where they helped seniors age in place through remote patient monitoring and safe work solutions. Earlier in their career, Deborah worked as a Management Consultant at Optimus SBR, where they led projects in integrated health solutions, and as an Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Sensory Tech, where they developed a new clinical service model. Deborah has also worked as the Director of Clinical Operations at Revera Inc., where they managed daily operations and developed strategic alliances. Additionally, they served as the President and CEO of Impex Group of Companies Inc., a technology firm that provided energy and power management solutions.

Deborah Emerson's education history includes studying Business - Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution - Mediation Arbitration and Negotiation at Western University until 2003. Deborah also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Additionally, they attended Fanshawe College for the School of Nursing - Registered Nurse program.
