Karen Wuestenfeld has extensive experience in environmental leadership and nonprofit governance. Currently serving as Vice President on the Board of Directors for Kachemak Heritage Land Trust, Karen chairs the Land and Easement Committee. Additionally, Karen is a member of the Grants Committee for Homer Community Foundation and holds the position of Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for Alaska Public Media. Previous roles at BP included EIS Lead for the Alaska LNG Project, Corporate Environment Director, and Director of Regulatory Compliance and Environmental. Karen holds a Master’s degree in Water Resources Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Resource Development from Michigan State University.
