Tore Galta is an experienced project engineer currently leading the hatchery and startfeed department for the Post-Smolt Finnmark Cermaq project at AKVA group ASA since February 2022. Previously, Tore worked at IK-Group as a project engineer focused on pigging solutions for the oil and gas industry. Experience includes a role as an inspection engineer at ExxonMobil, where maintenance and inspection strategies were developed, and earlier internships at EnerMech, Subsea 7, GE Oil & Gas, Randaberg Industries, and T.D. Williamson, spanning from summer internships to graduate programs. Tore holds a Master of Science in Subsea Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
