Sumit Kandpal is a seasoned software engineer specializing in media and real-time communication technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cantina and Airtime since October 2022 and April 2021 respectively, Sumit has extensive experience in developing solutions involving video conferencing and media servers. Previous roles at Cisco and Fuze involved significant contributions to the development of Cisco WebEx media servers and the Fuze client across multiple platforms, focusing on video processing and real-time data management using protocols like RTP/RTCP and WebRTC. Additionally, Sumit has experience in projects involving the design of video components at Polycom and academic work in chatbot development at the University of Arkansas.
