Marie Bexelius has had a diverse work experience. Marie started their career at LEGIO Advokatfirma AB in 1998, where they served as an Advokat, partner, and Director of Business Development until 2015. After that, they worked as a Business Developer, konsult at KPMG Sweden for a brief period in 2015. In 2016, Marie took on the role of Juridisk konsult at Täby Friskola and later became a Programutvecklare, juridik at Tibble gymnasium. In 2018, they joined AirHelp as a Bolagsjurist and eventually became the Head of Legal Sweden in 2019.

Marie Bexelius pursued an MBA-Executive Format in Economics and Management from Stockholm School of Economics, which they completed in 2013. In 1998, they studied Engelska at Stockholm University for a year. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1998, they pursued a degree in Masters of Law (jur kand) from Stockholm University. Additionally, Marie studied French at Universitas Chatolica in Annecy, France in 1994.
