Christopher O'Connor is an experienced leader in the field of developmental disabilities, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at AHRC Nassau since January 2007. In this role, Christopher oversees the overall leadership and daily operations of various programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and acting as a liaison among employees, families, and community stakeholders. Prior to this position, Christopher held the role of Senior Director of Program Operations at AHRC Nassau, managing clinical services. With a background that includes serving as the Director of Adult Services at the Developmental Disabilities Institute and working as a Standards Compliance Analyst at New York State OPWDD, Christopher’s extensive experience also includes a strong educational foundation with degrees in Psychology, Business Administration, and Registered Nursing.
