Amanda Kasner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as the Corporate Director of Business Strategy and Development at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since September 2023, Amanda previously held significant roles at Kirkland Lake Gold, including Director of Finance for Australia and Controller of Canadian Operations. Amanda’s career also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at RJK Explorations Ltd., where responsibilities involved preparing quarterly statements for a junior mining exploration company. Additional experience includes positions as Financial Controller and Financial Manager at Kirkland Lake Gold Inc., and an accountant role at Ross, Pope & Company LLP, where audit planning and execution were key duties. Amanda began a career in accounting with Ernst & Young as a Staff Accountant after earning an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a semester abroad at the National University of Singapore.
