Maria Ramos is an experienced Human Resources Professional with over 13 years in the field. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner and previously as Human Resources Talent Acquisition Manager at AgState since May 2022, Maria has developed a strong skill set in managing employees, labor laws, workers compensation, payroll, recruiting, staffing, benefit administration, and legal compliance. Prior to AgState, Maria held the position of Human Resources Director at United Community Health Center in Storm Lake, IA, from March 2009 to May 2022, where responsibilities included new hire orientation, FMLA administration, counseling, unemployment management, and the development and implementation of policies and employee training initiatives.
