Jussi Rasinmäki is a seasoned professional in the field of forestry, currently serving as the Head of Smart Forestry and Principal at AFRY since June 2021. Prior to this role, Jussi held positions as Principal and CEO at Simosol Oy from November 2007 to September 2021, focusing on project and product development for forest management planning applications. Jussi's academic background includes a PhD in Forestry from the University of Helsinki, where involvement spanned from 1996 to 2007 as a researcher specializing in spatio-temporal data management and software development for forest management. Additionally, Jussi contributed to system administration and teaching as an amanuensis during this period.
