Eric Wood is an experienced professional in facade design and project management, currently serving as the Mass Timber DfMA Practice Lead and Facade Designer at Stantec since February 2024. Previously, Eric held the position of Facade Specialist/Practice Lead at Morrison Hershfield, where expertise in facade engineering and technical knowledge was promoted through complex enclosure systems. Eric's background includes roles as Senior Project Manager at Fraser Health Authority and Project Manager at Seagate Structures, focusing on mass timber building envelopes. With prior experience in project technologist roles at BC Housing, significant contributions were made to capital planning and project implementation, including budget analysis and technical assessments. Eric also worked as a Development Consultant in commercial development and has a foundation in property assessment from BC Assessment. Eric holds a Certificate of Technology in Architectural and Building Engineering Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor.
