Melanie J. Parent is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana since February 2018. Previously, Melanie worked at FFC Capital from June 2012, first as a Portfolio Analyst/Data Analyst and then as Director - Portfolio Analyst, where responsibilities included portfolio management for pension systems and client relationship development. Earlier experience includes a communications internship with the City of New Orleans and serving as an assistant to the Community Director at Healthy Start. Melanie holds an MBA in Finance from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Howard University.
