Ken Lyons has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ken started their career at St. Vincent's University Hospital in 2014, where they worked as a Patient Services employee for three years. In 2017, they joined Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline, first as a Flight Deck Analyst and later as a Materials Support Engineer. After two years with Ryanair, Ken transitioned to AerCap in 2020, where they initially worked as a Purchasing Administrator and then moved on to the role of Purchasing Analyst.

Ken Lyons completed their education in a sequential manner. Ken first attended University College Dublin from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography & Sociology. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at Technological University Dublin from 2014 to 2016, earning a Higher Certificate in Business Studies. Finally, they attended Dublin City University from 2016 to 2017, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Management.
