Carolyn O. has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Carolyn is currently working as a Data Scientist at the company adyn since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Research Consultant starting in November 2021.

Before that, Carolyn was a User Studies Scientist at Apple from 2019 to 2021. At Stanford University School of Medicine, they served as a Primary Researcher from 2017 to 2019, conducting a study on the impact of state tax credits on infant and maternal health. Carolyn also worked at Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment as a Protocol Author & Coordinator, investigating the Nipah virus and conducting surveys in rural villages in West Bengal, India.

Carolyn O. has a Master of Science - MS degree in Epidemiology from Stanford University School of Medicine. Carolyn also holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Wilderness First Responder from Longleaf Wilderness Medicine in January 2022 and AIARE Level 1 from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE).
